The Corporate Advisory group provides day-to-day advice and assistance with Telecom's M & A and contracting needs. In addition to this, the group has also provided Telecom with:

• Assistance negotiating and finalising the disposal of Yellow Pages Group for $2.24 billion;
• Advice on interconnection issues and assistance in negotiating and finalising interconnection agreements with other telecommunications companies operating in the New Zealand market;
• Assistance in finalising its agreement with Microsoft for the establishment of Xtra MSN;
• Assistance in connection with negotiation and finalisation of the Djuice mobile portal agreement.
• Trade practices advice and assistance in connection with its various commercial activities.
