He specialises in acting for landlords and tenants of industrial retail and commercial space and in providing advice on the acquisition and divestment of properties and businesses. Jeff has considerable experience with construction contracts and in acting for developers on all types of commercial, residential and mixed use properties.

• Advising on complex industrial and commercial leasing arrangements and on the acquisition and disposition of properties and businesses. 
• Acting on design build contracts for industrial developments including for major mill extensions in Kawerau, 277 Broadway, Royal Sun Alliance Building (now Vero), Henderson Court Refurbishment, other major hotel and commercial office buildings. 
• Acting for developers on a wide range of developments including Pacific Business Centre, Wiri Industrial Park, 277 Broadway, Atrium on Elliott, Quay Park, Gulf Harbour, Royal Sun Alliance Building. 
• Conducting major due diligences, completing acquisitions and dispositions, preparing supply and management contracts, providing advice on Maori leases and forestry rights, and advising on joint ventures and farming partnerships in relation to significant New Zealand farms and forests. 
• Advising on joint venture arrangements for land and commercial developments, hotels and new technology (including meat processing and WAP software). 
• Acting on behalf of foreign investors in respect of coastal and lifestyle properties, commercial properties, forests, farms and businesses. 
• Acting for owners in negotiating management contracts with SPHC, Ritz Carlton, Holiday Inn and other major hoteliers. 
• Advising Accor on its New Zealand operations.
