In addition to transactional work, Chris provides ongoing advice to a range of clients, including utility and infrastructure providers, forestry owners, the primary sector, insurance companies and the manufacturing sector.
Transaction Experience
- Advising Vector on the outsourcing of the maintenance of its electricity gas and communications networks and related capital works.
- Advising CHAMP Private Equity on the acquisition of Blue Star Print Group and the equity funding arrangements for this acquisition.
- Advising Blue Star Print Group on various acquisitions.
- Advising Vector Communications on a fibre optic telecommunications project with Vodafone.
- Advising Hancock Natural Resource Group on the acquisition of forestry estates from Carter Holt Harvey.
- Advising Transpacific Industries on its merger with Waste Management, implemented by way of amalgamation under Part XIII of the Companies Act.
- Acting for Carter Holt Harvey Limited in its acquisition, through a competitive process, of the structural wood processing business of Tenon Limited.
- Advising on acquisitions and commercial agreements in the insurance sector.
- Advising various private equity houses on bids/acquisitions.
