Catherine was a partner in a small public law-focussed firm in London returning to New Zealand in 2005 to work at a Wellington-based boutique public law firm before joining Russell McVeagh in 2008. A key area of specialisation is regulatory work in the electricity, gas, telecommunications and banking sectors. Her public law experience is extensive and includes advice on public sector procurement and governance issues, law reform and judicial review.
